| The red carnation is set in front of the pegbox and scroll of the violin. The red hue of the flower highlights the red undertones of the wood. I am suddenly, reminded of autumn leaves. The red leaves drifting toward the ground while the faint music of the violin echoes through the blowing breeze and the rustling of the leaves. What do you think of when you look at this image? Our personal experiences colour our world in different shades of hue. What you think of can be remarkbly different from what I just described. Imagine if you never heard or seen a violin. What would one say about this photo then? |
